2-Days Entry
Valid for visiting Los Glaciares National Park for two consecutive days, being Estancia Cristina your first day in the park
• Cancellations requested within 3 days of the tour will pay a penalty equivalent to 100% of the total excursion cost; the penalty will not apply to the transfer and National Park fees.
• Cancellations/no-show on the day of the tour will pay a penalty equivalent to 100% of the total excursion cost, including transfers and entry fees to the National Park
Cancellations due to weather conditions:
If strong winds are forecast and Estancia Cristina cancels the boat’s departure, we will always look to reschedule the reservation, subject to availability and ongoing weather. If this is not possible, we shall then fully refund any amount already paid.
If traveling from the harbor to the estancia by boat is not possible: Transfers to a hotel in El Calafate will be covered by Estancia Cristina; however, lodging costs in El Calafate shall then be paid by each passenger, as we aim to either reschedule the original stay or refund any amount already paid by way of lodging.
If a passenger is at the estancia and it’s not possible to return to the harbor or El Calafate: Estancia Cristina will cover all lodging and food expenses at the estancia. However, additional expenses incurred such as charges / rescheduling of flights and lodging issues relating to the remainder of that passenger’s onward itinerary is not be responsibility of Estancia Cristina.
• Estancia Cristina reserves the right to cancel and/or modify all or some of the excursions due to adverse weather, safety or operating conditions, though this would not qualify for either a full or partial refund of any amounts already paid.
• Estancia Cristina cannot reimburse money in the event of strike action, stoppage actions or rescheduling of flights, no matter what the reasons.
Special Policies:
Any cancellation / rescheduling generated by a situation associated with a pandemic, whether due to border closures, cancellation of related flights, or restrictions applied by competent authorities may reschedule the activity without penalty or rate adjustment.
If a particular passenger cannot travel due to being medically affected by the pandemic, they must process the corresponding reimbursements with their travel insurance.
Cancelation policies
Cancelation requested more than 31 days before the check-in date will not suffer penalty (only banking expenses will be charge if there are any).
Cancelation requested 30 days or less before the check-in date will have a penalty of 100% of the total amount. The deposit will remain as credit if Guest would like to reschedule or will be refund in the same currency and amount that the deposit was paid.
Important: Estancia Cristina reserves the right to cancel and/or modify the entire or partial tour due to bad weather conditions or operating reasons.
Exceptional situations
• If strong winds are forecasted and Estancia Cristina cancels the boat departure, the reservation will be re-schedule, subject to availability and ongoing weather. In case it were not possible, we shall then fully refund any amount already paid.
• If a guest is at the estancia and it’s not possible to return to the harbor or El Calafate: Estancia Cristina will cover all lodging and food expenses at the estancia. However, additional expenses incurred such as charges / rescheduling of flights and lodging issues relating to the passenger’s onward itinerary, will not be responsibility of Estancia Cristina
• Estancia Cristina is not responsible nor will it make partial or total reimbursement of any money in case of stoppages, rescheduling of flights whatever the reason, natural disasters, third party services or any other situation that may cause any inconvenience in the stay.
• Any cancellation / rescheduling generated by a situation associated with a pandemic, whether due to border closures, cancellation of related flights, or restrictions applied by competent authorities may reschedule the activity without penalty or rate adjustment.
